  -Take flight from Francisco B. Reyes Airport, formerly Busuanga Airport (USU) to Mactan–Cebu International Airport (CEB) to Siargao Island Sayak Airport (IAO). Tip: Flights are often delayed so try to take earliest flight (less chance of delay). Total time is around 6h and expect to get to Siargao Island at 1pm.

  -Take Uber or Taxi from hotel / hostel to Mactan–Cebu International Airport (CEB). Allow about 2-4hours for transportation (Cebu City during rush hour can take hours) and 60min to checkin.
  -Arrive Mactan–Cebu International Airport (CEB)
  -Take flight from Mactan–Cebu International Airport (CEB to Manila Airport (MNL). Tip: Flights are often delayed so try to take earliest flight (less chance of delay).
  -Take flight from Manila Airport (MNL) back home. HINT: If you’re leaving for the USA on a direct flight you may arrive the same day.

Wanderasm’s Savvy Travel Tips:

• We generally recommend flying into El Nido Airport (ENI) airport as opposed to Puerto Princesa (PPS) to save time. Tip: If you do travel to Puerto Princesa (PPS) allow ~7 hours for the van commute to El Nido.
• Take the earliest flights – less delays. Theres a saying that flights are on Philippines Standard Time so the later your flight is the higher the chance is of a delay.
